Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking a Production Team Leader X-Ray (2nd shift) to coordinate daily and shift-to-shift activities ensuring on-time delivery and quality. The role is onsite in Hampton with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–1:00am.

Anticipated pay range is $65,000–$75,000 per year. The successful candidate will lead production teams, manage workflow, and uphold TPM standards while complying with export-control requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
• Associate degree from two-year college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work activities on a daily (shift to shift) basis to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Ensure daily production goals are met in both quantity and quality.
• Utilize production methods that reduce cost and increase productivity.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to TPM or other methods.
• Oversee scheduling and communicate with Shared Resources, Central Stores, Tool Room, and Maintenance.
• Train operators and enforce safety and work rules.
