Job summary

Concentra is seeking a X Ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist to perform routine x-ray and medical procedures under supervision, while delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The role also supports registration, referral management, and front-office tasks, with responsibilities including DOT/non-DOT testing, vital signs, vaccines, phlebotomy, and documentation in EMR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Limited Scope Technician certification and state license required where applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Minimum six months medical assistant experience; X-ray familiarity preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist with positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug/alcohol testing as required.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Front office duties: greet patients, check in/out, and document accurately.
• Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment; manage supplies and QA/QC.
