Job summary

UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine seeks a Radiologic Technologist to support patient care by performing diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by providers. You will work with the care team to maintain efficient workflows in clinical offices.

You will set up exam rooms, adhere to QA, infection prevention standards, document in the EMR, and provide safe, accurate imaging services to patients across age groups. ARRT certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current AART certification covering digital radiography, chest, extremities, skull, torso-skeletal.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential.
• BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited JRCERT program.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and position patients for optimal views.
• Follow technique charts and use independent judgment for radiologic orders.
• Collaborate with departments to support radiological services.
• Manage exam rooms, infection prevention standards, and QA measures.
• Document patient intake, vital signs, medical history in the EMR.
