Job summary

Arthritis & Rheumatism Associates, P.C. seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a 4-day work week in Frederick, MD and Rockville, MD. You will operate RadMediX DR, Samsung DR, and GE Lunar Prodigy, perform X-ray and DEXA exams, and ensure patient comfort and safety while documenting histories and billing charges.

You will collaborate with the Radiology Manager, maintain rooms and equipment, and travel to additional office locations as needed, while adhering to regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiography or higher.
• Current Radiographers Certification with ARRT.
• ARRT Bone Densitometry Certification (preferred).
• Radiographer licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and any future states.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
• In-depth knowledge of radiology equipment and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to position patients accurately for optimal imaging.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and image management systems.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel to other offices if neededCommitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Operate RadMediX DR, Samsung DR, and GE Lunar Prodigy radiographic equipment.
• Perform diagnostic X-ray films and DEXA exams as directed by physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document clinical histories and submit billing charges.
• Manage image transfer to Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS).
• Utilize Microsoft Office- Outlook for administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the Radiology Manager and healthcare team.
• Maintain X-ray and DEXA rooms, stock necessary equipment/supplies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Attend staff meetings and pursue professional growth opportunities.
• Performs related work as required to meet the needs of the company.
