Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's AMG Ortho Surgery location seeks an experienced X‑ray/Registered Radiologic Technologist to support outpatient orthopedic imaging. You will perform radiographic exams, ensure patient safety, and document imaging studies in the EMR/PACS system.

The role requires ARRT registration, Maryland radiologic license, and a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy. A 40-hour workweek, day shifts, and competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• One year of radiologic experience preferred.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) required.
• Maryland state radiologic license required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of orthopedic anatomy and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Proficiency with digital radiography and PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for radiographic examinations and verify imaging orders.
• Position patients to obtain quality diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Produce and review high-quality images for physician interpretation and document in EMR/PACS.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
• Assist patients with mobility aids and orthopedic devices as needed.
