Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking an Entry Level X-ray Aide to support the X-ray Technologist at Ortho Rhode Island in Warwick, RI. The role involves greeting patients, preparing them for examinations, and assisting with positioning and room cleanliness.

The position runs 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with emphasis on safety, privacy, and accurate recordkeeping. A High School diploma and basic Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Discretion to work with confidential information.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations and Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
• Protects patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.
• Follows established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Maintains required records including patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports.
• Maintains radiographic supplies and orders as necessary.
• cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining equipment repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
