Job summary

Coral Academy of Science High School in Reno, NV seeks a Head Coach for Wrestling to lead the wrestling program, develop practices, and ensure athlete safety and sportsmanship. You will collaborate with the Athletic Director and staff to schedule events and manage resources.

The ideal candidate will have coaching experience in wrestling, a high school diploma, and relevant certifications. This is a stipend-based coaching role with duties during the season and weekend events.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• Experience as coach/advisor in wrestling preferred.
• Nevada Teaching Certificate desirable; CPR and NFHS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction for the wrestling program.
• Coordinate with staff and parents about scheduling games and practices.
• Ensure compliance with NIAA regulations via Register My Athlete.
• Manage team store, equipment, and fundraising activities.
• Schedule team photos and maintain player eligibility records.
• Discipline and promote health, welfare and sportsmanship of students.
• Attend contests and practice sessions and provide leadership.
