Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certification, Certified Physical Education Teacher or certified teacher with sport expertise preferred.
• Must be interviewed by the District Athletics Coordinator and/or Chief School Administrator/Principal.
• Must demonstrate knowledge or coaching potential related to the sport.

Responsibilities

• Coach junior varsity and assist Head Coach.
• Attend all practices and games when the Junior Varsity is involved.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; ensure uniforms are collected and returned.
• Communicate with athletes and families regularly.
• Coordinate with nurse and Head Coach on medical releases and injuries.
• Handle game-day operations and sign-off on vouchers after JV games.
