Education Jobs NJ is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Wrestling Co-ed Head Coach for Cranbury School in Cranbury, NJ. The role involves motivating players, coordinating with staff, and maintaining regular communication with families.

The position supports the junior varsity with duties assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Coordinator. The role requires NJ state certification or eligibility, and experience or certification in coaching the sport.

Qualifications

• NJ state certification or eligibility; substitute approval if not a teacher.
• Certified PE teacher or teacher with sport coaching expertise preferred.
• Must be interviewed by Athletics Coordinator and/or Principal.

Responsabilités

• Motivate team and athletes.
• Cooperate with maintenance/transport staff and others supporting athletics.
• Communicate regularly with athletes and their families.
• Use sound coaching techniques in all phases of the program.
• Assist Head Coach with duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Manage Junior Varsity and ensure practices/games coverage.
• Check eligibility and medical clearances with nurse.
• Handle uniforms, equipment, and inventory after seasons.
• Ensure safety and adherence to district code of conduct.
