Job summary

Asbury Park High School is seeking Winter Assistant Coaches for the 2026-2027 season. Wrestling (1) position; stipend per negotiated agreement; reports to Athletic Coordinator. Candidates must possess NJDOE or substitute certificate and CPR/First Aid certification, with relevant coaching experience.

Responsibilities include conducting daily practices, attending events, maintaining attendance and eligibility records, and developing an athletic plan to promote the sport.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NJDOE Certificate OR current Monmouth County Substitute Certificate.
• Must meet NJSIAA guidelines, showing current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Must have successful experience in the area which you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all daily practices and maintain daily attendance.
• Attend all athletic events pertaining to your sport.
• Maintain records of all athletic participants to be used for tournaments.
• Create an athletic plan to promote and enhance your sport.
• Ensure and certify academic eligibility of all your athletes.

Education

NJDOE Certificate or Monmouth County Substitute Certificate
