Jason Lee Middle School in Vancouver, Washington, is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the Athletic Director and building Principal, you will conduct practices, oversee games, and develop student-athletes to compete with integrity.

Flexibility in working hours is required; starting date is immediately. Duties include teaching sportsmanship, organizing practice sessions, and ensuring safety per district and WIAA rules. Salary is paid per season.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of the sport and coaching experience with K-12 athletes preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR card, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience demonstrating strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively with diverse students and families.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and articulate a vision for the program emphasizing character and positive experience for athletes.
• Recruit student athletes for the school for participation.
• Conduct practices focusing on proper technique and mechanics of wrestling.
• Attend and supervise matches and execute game strategy.
• Attend Coaches’ Institute training as required.
• Teach and demonstrate sportsmanship with athletes, parents, and the school community.
• Organize, supervise, and evaluate practice sessions.
• Adhere to WIAA, league, district, and school rules and policies.
• Maintain uniforms and equipment; communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and community.
