Fort Vancouver High School in Vancouver, WA invites applications for the Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the Athletic Director and Principal, you will organize practices, supervise games, and help develop student-athletes.

Candidates should have coaching experience with K-12 athletes, current First Aid/CPR, strong communication, and ability to work with diverse students and families. Flexible hours and commitment to safety are required.

Formación

• Knowledge of the sport and ability to develop student-athletes.
• Recent coaching experience with K-12 athletes preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR card or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with organizational and leadership duties.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and articulate a vision for the program emphasizing character and a positive experience for all athletes.
• Recruit student athletes for participation at the coach's school.
• Conduct practices focusing on proper technique and mechanics.
• Attend and supervise games and implement game strategy.
• Attend yearly Inset/Coaches' Institute training in August.
• Model sportsmanship with athletes, parents, and the school community.
• Organize and evaluate practice sessions and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain equipment and uniforms inventory.
