Job summary

Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium in Michigan is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Coaching professional responsible for teaching sport techniques, planning practices, and supervising all aspects of the team.

The role requires a high school diploma or college degree and CPR/First Aid certification, with the ability to follow direction from the Athletic Director.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or College Degree required.
• First Aid and CPR training required.
• Ability to work with other coaches and receive direction from the Athletic Director.
• Relate well to students, parents, school personnel and the general public.
• Knowledge of MHSAA rules and regulations CAP 1 Class through MHSAA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport.
• Demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.
• Develop, promote and supervise all facets of your team and sport.
• Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport.
• Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities used.
• Prepare and execute practice and game plans and strategies designed to bring success to the program.
• Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to the team at all times.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Athletic Department.
