Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools seeks a Wrestling Coach at Minnetonka Middle School West to lead the program for the season 2026-27. You will plan practices, accompany the team to events, enforce policies, and work with the Director of Activities on budgets, equipment, and scheduling.

The role requires knowledge of wrestling, strong communication, and the ability to supervise students after school hours through 5:30 PM and meets, with duties including safety and discipline and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Coaching license or completion of MSHSL alternative program.
• Ability to enforce school and district policies and manage athletic equipment and records.
• Strong organizational skills for budgets, scheduling and reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, accompany and supervise the team to and from all events including practices and competitions.
• Administer coaching duties per district policies and coach handbooks.
• Assist with hiring, development and evaluation of assistant coaches.
