Job summary

Wyandotte Public Schools seeks an Athletics/Activities/Coaching role at Roosevelt High School for the 2026-27 school year. You will prepare and conduct practices, oversee competitions, and supervise student athletes during transport and events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct team practices, training, and competition.
• Supervise student athletes before, during and after practices and competitions, including during transportation until guardians pick up.
• Possess knowledge of sport, skills and techniques from fundamentals to game planning and strategies for the level of competition.
• Possess knowledge of sport rules and relay and enforce those rules to student athletes.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with student athletes and parents.
• Create a physically and emotionally safe environment for student athletes.
• Model and teach ethical behavior.
• Ability to perform assigned duties.
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
