Job summary

Norfolk Public School District is seeking an Early Learning & Title I Resource Associate to support Preschool, Title I, McKinney Vento and Foster Care initiatives. This role helps coordinate wraparound services through the Family Welcome and Wellness Center and collaborates with community partners to connect families with resources.

You will maintain records, assist with attendance and reporting, and help engage families while working under the Senior Director of Early Learning and Title I.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Preschool, McKinney Vento, Foster Care and Title I programs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with school staff, families, and community partners.
• Ability to create PowerPoint presentations with little to no assistance.
• Ability to create graphs and visualizations using Excel or similar tools.
• Experience with assessment applications (Schoolnet and/or Canvas) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of federal/state guidelines for Preschool, Title I, MKV, and Foster Care.
• Coordinate with Early Learning, MKV, Foster Care, and Title I staff.
• Document services and communications using Onflo and other platforms.
• Assist with communication to school staff and families.
• Engage community partners to connect families with resources.
