Job summary

Help Group is hiring for a full-time role in the Los Angeles area to support Intensive Family Based Services. The position involves working with adolescents, adults and families to deliver wraparound and related programs.

You will engage with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate family plans and collaborate with community partners to empower clients toward positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience in a community-based social service program.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work with 3 years experience in high-risk youth.
• Knowledge of family-centered, strengths-based services and group facilitation.
• Knowledge of the local community.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop Child and Family Teams; facilitate partnerships to engage families with Wraparound teams and community liaisons.
• Identify needs, facilitate Team Meetings, develop Child and Family Plans, and monitor strategies for participation and cross-system collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• P erform assessments, develop Child and Family Teams and facilitate partnerships, strategies and interventions to engage families with the Wraparound teams and community liaisons.
• Facilitators will also identify needs, facilitate Team Meetings, ensure the development of Child and Family Plans, and design and monitor strategies to ensure participation, compliance and cross-system collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is preferred with a minimum of one year of experience in a community-based social service program working with emotionally disturbed children and adults
• M inimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work is required with 3 years of experience working with high-risk children/youth in either child welfare, probation or mental health systems in Wraparound
• Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services and group facilitation
• Knowledge of the local community
• Fluency in Spanish high preferred.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
