Job summary

Help Group is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Intensive Family Based Services team in Culver City and Van Nuys. You will conduct assessments, help build Child and Family Plans, and coordinate strategies with Wraparound teams and community partners to support families facing mental health and social-emotional challenges.

The role emphasizes family-centered, strengths-based approaches and requires knowledge of the local community and bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred with a minimum of one year of experience in a community-based social service program
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work with 3 years of experience
• Familiarity with family-centered, strengths-based services and group facilitation
• Knowledge of the local community
• Fluency in Spanish highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• P erform assessments, develop Child and Family Teams and facilitate partnerships, strategies and interventions to engage families with the Wraparound teams and community liaisons.
• Facilitators will also identify needs, facilitate Team Meetings, ensure the development of Child and Family Plans, and design and monitor strategies to ensure participation, compliance and cross-system collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is preferred with a minimum of one year of experience in a community-based social service program working with emotionally disturbed children and adults
• M inimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work is required with 3 years of experience working with high-risk children/youth in either child welfare, probation or mental health systems in Wraparound
• Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services and group facilitation
• Knowledge of the local community
• Fluency in Spanish high preferred.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs.
