Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) in Vienna, WV is hiring a Family Facilitator to support wraparound services across several counties. Under supervision, you will conduct family facilitation, mediation, conflict resolution, and strengths-based assessment and planning, collaborating with youth and families to develop care plans.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with licensure, plus at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with licensure.
• Knowledge base for mental illness, diagnosis and behavioral disorders.
• Two years relevant experience.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

• Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
• Family facilitation, mediation, or conflict resolution.
• Strengths-based assessment and planning.
• Communication and relate to diverse groups and manage interpersonal conflict.
• Perform all duties in accordance with personnel policies and fiscal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as requested.
