Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the development and maintenance of full stack Windows desktop applications for medical device systems. You will build WPF interfaces using MVVM, implement C#.NET logic, and work with SQL databases, collaborating with cross functional teams in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in a technical field and 3 years of software development experience with WPF, MVVM, and RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3 years of software development experience.
• Practical experience with WPF, C#.NET, XAML and MVVM.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and data access.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and socket programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop Windows desktop features using C#.NET, WPF, XAML and MVVM.
• Create and update UI components, data binding, and navigation.
• Implement application logic and service layer components.
• Write SQL queries and data access components.
• Integrate WPF applications with instruments and APIs.
• Apply asynchronous programming and multithreading.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Create unit and integration tests for UI, DB, and communications.
• Troubleshoot defects across UI, logic, DB and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and document processes.
