Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the development and maintenance of full‑stack Windows desktop applications for medical devices. You will build XAML-based interfaces using WPF and MVVM, implement C# logic, access SQL data, and support instrument communication interfaces.

You will participate in testing, debugging, documentation, and cross‑functional activities across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience building WPF applications with C#, .NET, XAML, MVVM.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and data-access technologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and TCP/IP sockets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, WPF, XAML, and MVVM.
• Create and update UI components, controls, styles, and data binding.
• Implement application logic and service-layer components from requirements.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and data-access code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
