Motion Recruitment is seeking a Software Engineer in Boston to help build customer-facing applications used by enterprise and government organizations. You will develop desktop and mobile solutions with C#, .NET, and WPF, collaborating in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality code, robust unit tests, and participation in sprint planning, reviews, and demonstrations for clients. You will engage with cross-functional teams and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET and C#.
• Experience building desktop applications using WPF.
• Experience working with REST/SOAP web services, XML, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience working through the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience writing unit tests and maintaining application quality.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
