The Finance Applications team powers Document Intelligence AI and Workday’s CLM and Contract Intelligence offerings, enabling faster, better, and risk‑reduced contract management.

About The Role

As a Functional Architect on the WoW Finance – Source to Pay team, you will be the key individual contributor responsible for the day‑to‑day operational health and long‑term growth of Workday’s Evisort platform.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily operational support for Workday’s Evisort instances (GPO, Legal, GTM), ensuring system reliability and performance for business partners
• Owning the roadmap and architecture strategy for new Evisort builds and deployments, defining how the platform evolves to meet emerging business needs
• Partnering with source‑to‑pay business teams to understand requirements and translate them into well‑designed system configurations and solutions
• Evaluating existing processes and workflows within Evisort to identify optimization opportunities for efficiency and scalability
• Collaborating across functional areas to ensure alignment between system capabilities and business objectives during new implementations
• Documenting system architecture decisions, configurations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of work experience in enterprise application administration, functional architecture, or a similar role
• 5+ years of experience with contract lifecycle management platforms (Evisort preferred)

Other Qualifications:

• Experience setting up and maintaining enterprise systems, troubleshooting, optimizing configurations, and implementing security measures
• Skilled in business analysis, data interpretation, and process improvement to inform decision‑making
• Familiarity with process capability analysis, performance data interpretation, and quality improvement
• Experience designing and optimizing business processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

Primary Location: USA.CA.Pleasanton

Base Pay Range: $135,200 USD – $202,800 USD (additional US locations: $114,200 USD – $202,800 USD)
