Job Description Summary Provides nursing care, consultation and coordination of services for patients with chronic wounds, acute pressure injuries and ostomies. Fosters effective communication among health care professionals who provide nursing care to children with altered skin integrity and ostomies. Develops and implements educational programs for patients, caregivers and families, hospital staff, and community health personnel. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. Maintains a current Ohio Nursing License.

Certifications Wound Ostomy Certification within first 12 months of employment, required.
Experience Clinical skill and knowledge in the nursing care of children including normal growth and development and/or clinical expertise in specialized area, required.
