Norton Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Wound, Ostomy, Continence- RN to provide age-specific care from neonate to geriatric.

The role includes planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating care for patients with skin impairment, ostomies, and complex wounds in inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate has at least one year in nursing, a bachelor’s degree, and must obtain CWOCN, CWON, or WCC credentials within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• One year in nursing.
• Bachelor Degree.
• Must obtain CWOCN or CWON or WCC credential within two years of hire and be Registered Nurse.
• One year as a wound ostomy nurse is desirable.
• Master Degree is desirable.
• Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse OR Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care, consultations, assessments, and ongoing re-evaluation of nursing care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff, patients, families, and physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to plan and implement patient care.
