Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a part-time RN specialized in wound, ostomy, and continence care. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, developing care plans, and delivering direct patient care including wound and ostomy management.

You will educate patients and families and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's in Nursing, with preferred BSN, and has strong communication and stress-management

Qualifications

• Current knowledge in wounds, ostomies, and continence.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and peers.
• Ability to work with people of various backgrounds.
• Ability to work under stress and deadlines.
• Organizational and time management to manage a full patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments related to wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Develop and document individualized care plans and ensure accurate records.
• Administer treatments and medications, monitor responses, and adjust plans.
• Provide direct patient care including wound and ostomy management.
• Educate patients and families on wound, ostomy, and continence care; train staff as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
