Job summary

Luxor Healthcare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse / RN or LPN (WCC, WOCN) to join our team in Missouri. The role involves direct nursing care, wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility, and coordinating with wound care providers.

Qualifications include a current RN or LPN license, some wound care experience, and certification is preferred but not required. Minimum 1–3 months related experience or equivalent education is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
• Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
• Duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents’ care, and implementation of schedules for residents.
