Job summary

Rosewood Rehab and Healthcare Center seeks a Wound Care Nurse/ LPN (WCC, WOCN) to join our team in Missouri. Day shift, Mon-Fri. Provide direct nursing care per policy and treat wounds for residents in a skilled facility.

Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, noting orders, coordinating with wound care providers, and educating CNAs and nurses on wound care and prevention. Some wound care experience is preferred; certification is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Wound care experience preferred.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum Experience: 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities ofWound Nurse/ LPN (WCC, WOCN):

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.

• Complete wound treatments for residents in skilled nursing facility.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate resident condition.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate with wound care providers, oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
• Provide resident specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.

Wound Nurse/ LPN (WCC, WOCN) duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents’ care, and implementation of schedules for residents.
