Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nursing license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Wound care certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unit Management: Plan, organize, and direct nursing services while ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Leadership and Development: Make staffing assignments, encourage professional development, and review documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Resident Care Coordination: Oversee resident assessments, ensure adequate supplies, and address grievances with timely reporting to the Director of Nursing.
• Wound Care: Provide wound care on assigned residents, following physician orders and manufacturer recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nursing license in the state of practice
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Certification in wound care not required upon hire but must receive wound certification within 6 months of hire date.
