Job summary

Sunset Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Wound Nurse (RN) to lead skin health and provide specialised wound care for seniors. You will assess wounds, implement treatment plans, and monitor healing to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Required are RN licensure in the practicing state, wound care experience, and at least one year in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings. On-call rotations and a professional approach are essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Prior wound care experience is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting is required.
• On-call rotations are required.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Wound Nurse | RN, you will be responsible for the community’s general application of the skin management program. You will also be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and effective treatment to heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. As a Wound Nurse, you will be required to assess wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of various infections, and clean wounds.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing
• Prior Wound Care experience required
