Tutora Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated Wound Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will deliver comprehensive wound care, assess wounds, and implement treatment plans within a long-term care setting, focusing on safety, efficiency, and resident comfort.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license, have prior wound care experience, and bring at least one year of LTC/SNF/AL/MC clinical exposure, with professional presentation and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state in which you are practicing
• Prior Wound Care experience required
• Minimum of one year of experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assess wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of infection, and clean wounds
• Provide safe, efficient, and effective wound care to healing various wound types (surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, abscesses)
• Maintain skin management program and ensure charting and documentation are up to date

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Wound Nurse | RN, you will be responsible for the community’s general application of the skin management program. You will also be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and effective treatment to heal various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bed sores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses. As a Wound Nurse, you will be required to assess wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of various infections, and clean wounds.
