Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a local leadership professional to oversee wound, skin, ostomy and hyperbaric services across inpatient and outpatient locations in Billings, MT. The role emphasizes budget management, quality improvement initiatives and staff development to deliver high-value specialty care.

You will collaborate with enterprise and care-site leaders, drive performance, and ensure patient safety initiatives are met, while guiding teams toward efficient, compassionate care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or leadership equivalent experience.
• Experience in budget management.
• Ability to develop strong team dynamics in customer-based environments.
• Bachelor's degree in medical field or healthcare administration obtained through an accredited institution.
• Able to work in a compressed gas environment.
• Current clinical license or compact license with the ability to obtain license to work in the state of employment (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers (if applicable).
• Experience working in wound care, ostomy, and hyperbaric medicine.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates performance and compliance with patient safety initiatives and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborates with provider leadership to develop and implement department strategies.
• Leads the achievement of goals and implements action plans to improve performance.
• Demonstrates cost-effective use of resources to meet department financial goals.
• Works with Shared Service and Caresite leadership to develop operating and capital budget requests.
• Participates in interdisciplinary committees across the organization.
• Creates a culture for caregivers supporting safe, efficient and compassionate care.
• Holds caregivers accountable for outcomes using patient satisfaction metrics and benchmarks.
• Serves as a liaison for providers in department and medical group leadership.
• Manages department human resources including hiring, performance reviews, and staff development.
