Job summary

Mountainviewnursing is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to provide high-quality wound care and treatment services while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. You will perform dressing changes, wound assessments, monitor healing, and communicate with physicians and families regarding care plans.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care and treatment is preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care
