Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Nashville is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, in Nashville, TN. The role emphasizes wound/skin care, preserving skin integrity, and collaboration with medical staff.

Minimum qualifications include an ADN, 1 year of related experience, valid RN license, BLS by start date, and wound care training within 90 days. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; RN license
• 1 year of related RN experience required
• BLS certification by start date
• Wound care training to be completed within first 90 days

Responsibilities

• Preserve skin integrity by implementing and monitoring wound care strategies.
• Ensure wound and skin care protocols are approved by medical staff.
• Organize multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds weekly for high-risk patients and those with current ulcers.
• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Serve as a specialist resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
