Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for wound care in a PRN Day shift. The role involves ambulatory care nursing, patient assessment, and delivering compassionate care within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Alabama RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain units.
• 1 year experience required unless approved by AVP level or above.

Responsabilités

• Promotes wellness, restores health, and supports end-of-life care using ambulatory care nursing principles.
• Assesses patients’ needs and develops individualized care plans based on evidence-based nursing practice.
• Delivers age-appropriate care, interprets data and coordinates treatments accordingly.
• Delegates tasks to team members and communicates patient information effectively to ensure safety.
• Maintains patient safety, provides education to patients and families, and participates in performance improvement activities.
