Qualifications

• RN license in Alabama or eNLC required.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC required for certain areas.
• 1 year nursing experience required unless AVP approves.
• Hospital Care at Home – two years acute care nursing experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care in an area in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop/revise an individualized plan of care.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Documents patient care meeting regulatory standards.
• Provide compassionate and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Assist with Hospital Care at Home and in-home nursing programs.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nursing
