Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse HBO Wound PRN to provide patient-centered wound care and collaborate with the care team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing. You will assess patients on admission and shifts, administer medications, educate families, and document care while adhering to standards of practice and state requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and document care in medical records.
• Provide timely, compassionate care; respond to patient requests and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Translate medical terminology to ensure patient and family understanding of condition and treatment.
