Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the wound care team in Wilmington, DE. This part-time role features a 8am-4pm schedule on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with responsibilities spanning wound assessment, care plans, and patient education.

Ideal candidates hold an active Delaware RN license, ASN, and 3+ years of clinical experience, with BSN preferred. Certification in wound care is a plus and certification within 6 months of hire may be considered.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware RN license is required.
• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in wound care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with wounds and document examinations.
• Educate patients and families about chronic wounds and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists and other nurses in wound care.
• Initiate and update care plans, pathways, and documentation.
• Educate inpatient nurses on skin integrity and wound prevention.
