Job summary

Coralvita is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse for LTAC in Richardson, TX. The role requires an active RN license in Texas and at least 1 year of wound care experience. BLS certification from a Coralvita-approved vendor is required.

Certification in wound care within 6 months is preferred. The RN will educate patients and families, supervise care as needed, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position reports to the Wound Care Coordinator and part of the Nursing department.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license to practice in the state of employment is required.
• BLS certification from a Coralvita-approved vendor is required.
• One year of wound care experience is required.
• Wound Care certification within 6 months of hire is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with nurses and other teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates a plan of care for patients with wound care needs.
• Provides education on wound care, ostomy and skin integrity to patients and families.
• Supervises nursing activities and supports clinical staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain professional practice.
