Job summary

Calhoun is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN/LVN for a full-time role. You will assess, treat, and plan care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence concerns, collaborating with the nursing team to ensure compassionate, quality care.

The posted wage ranges from $37.00 to $43.00 per hour, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and support for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1-2 years wound care experience required
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc)
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions
