Job summary

Regency at Troy is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to lead wound care programs for residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments while ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting skin health and pressure injury prevention.

The role serves as a clinical resource and educator for residents, families, and staff, offering competitive pay and a strong benefits package in Michigan.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN licensure in the applicable state.
• Current CPR certification within 90 days of employment or on hire.
• Wound care certification required and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Treatment Nurse and plans/directs work to meet resident needs.
• Prepares and adjusts assignments for staffing and safety.
• Receives staffing calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Oversees unit operations during higher-level staff absence.
• Uses independent judgment per policies and laws.
