Job summary

Central Valley Specialty Hospital in Modesto, CA is seeking a Wound Care RN Supervisor to coordinate comprehensive wound assessments and plans of care across the organization. You will educate patients and families, guide the wound team, and ensure high-quality skin care through standardized protocols.

As a resource to physicians and staff, you will lead the wound care program, monitor outcomes, manage equipment, and participate in performance improvement initiatives to optimize patient safety

Qualifications

• CA Registered Nurse license required.
• Wound care experience and CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Implements wound care program with protocols and documentation tools.
• Provides basic wound care training and orientation to staff.
• Leads nursing staff and coordinates patient care related to wounds.
• Oversees documentation, patient safety, and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborates with physicians to optimize wound healing outcomes.
