The Bronx VA Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care Team on the Bronx - New York VA campus. This intermittent, on-site RN will provide expert wound and skin care across Med/Surg, SCI/D, and CLC units, focusing on high-risk pressure injuries and complex wounds.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, implement evidence-based wound care, monitor outcomes, and contribute to education and quality improvement initiatives.

Formación

• English proficiency as required for direct patient care.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in the U.S.
• Active State RN license (or eligible via bridge program) and ability to obtain license.
• Foreign nurse graduates require degree equivalency validation.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent, evidence-based wound care to assigned patients.
• Oversee nursing staff and coordinate care on wound management.
• Identify and implement preventive and treatment measures; monitor outcomes.
• Educate staff and participate in quality improvement.
• Administer medications and procedures per policies.
• Work Schedule: Intermittent; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
