The Bronx VA Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work intermittently on the Wound Care Team at the Bronx, New York VA campus. The Wound Care RN provides wound and skin support to Veterans on Med/Surg, SCI/D, and CLC units, focusing on assessment, treatment, prevention, and monitoring of complex wounds.

Qualified candidates will have an approved nursing program degree, a current US RN license, English proficiency, and eligibility for VA credentialing processes.

Formación

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ACEN/CCNE) with licensure.
• Current, active RN license in a US state or DC.
• Foreign education requires degree equivalency validation.
• Grandfathering provision applies for VA 0610 series.

Responsabilidades

• Provides wound and skin support to Veterans on Med/Surg, SCI/D and CLC units.
• Performs assessment, treatment, prevention and monitoring of wounds.
