Overview
  • Department: Inpatient - Wound Care
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • Hospital: Resurrection Medical Center
  • Location: Chicago, IL 60631

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides evaluation of and direct care for inpatient wounds. The RN communicates with physicians, charge nurses, and co-workers regarding changes in the patient’s treatment and clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies. The RN responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
  2. BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  4. Previous Wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 Year).
  5. Wound Care Certification within the first year of hire.
  6. Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred.

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
