Job summary

Healogics, LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Wound Care Center and manage intake and discharge for scheduled patients. The role includes potential Case Manager duties and vein clinic support after specialized training.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, care plan documentation, quality improvement participation, and collaboration with physicians and directors to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice – to be maintained throughout employment.
• BSN preferred.
• Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles intake and discharge processes as assigned.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed.
• May serve as Case Manager to a group of patients; perform initial nursing assessment and document care plans.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and educates patients and caregivers.
• Performs HBO-related duties as assigned after training; may assume safety director duties after training.
• Collaborates with other providers and directors regarding clinic and patient needs.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
• Performs other duties as required.
