Job summary

Healogics LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care at the Wound Care Center, manage intake and discharge, and support vein clinic activities.

Under supervision, you will perform nursing assessments, document care plans, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. HBO duties may be assigned after training.

The role requires ADN with RN license, BSN preferred, and Wound Care Certification preferred; prior wound care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Strong organization, prioritization and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
• Ability to teach and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles intake and discharge processes.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed.
• May also serve as Case Manager to a group of patients as assigned.
• Performs nursing assessment, communicates findings with the physician, assesses wound stage and measurements, documents care plans.
• Evaluates patient status and identifies care needs; intervenes as required.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, educates patient or caregiver, and serves as a patient advocate in care delivery.
• Performs HBO-related duties as assigned after HBO training; may perform HBO safety director duties after training.
• Collaborates with other providers and the Medical Director regarding clinic needs; may function as Documentation Assistant.
• Performs other duties as required.
