Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process within a collaborative healthcare setting. You will be accountable for care provided to assigned patients and will evaluate and coordinate care with other direct caregivers and departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited RN program and maintain an active RN license in the hiring state (or compact).

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
