Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital is seeking a Safety Administrator for the Outpatient Wound Care Center and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. The role focuses on administering HBOT, providing outpatient wound care as needed, and documenting comprehensive patient care with current care plans.

Qualifications include RN experience in acute care or home health, and licensure as LPN/RT/EMT with BLS and UHMS certification (preferred within 1 year). Training in UHMS courses is required.

Qualifications

• Recent RN experience in acute care or home health.
• Experience in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (preferred).
• UHMS courses/training completed or planned (required within timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Administers medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with facility and medical staff to ensure patient safety.
• Performs HBOT/wound assessments and educates patients and families.
• Determines safety of patients receiving HBOT treatments.
• Monitors hyperbaric patient flow to improve efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
