Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse in Houston, TX to join our wound care team. You will provide patient care using the Nursing Process, plan, implement, direct, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with the care team.

Training will be provided to support wound care competencies. Qualified applicants hold an RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred for Magnet Hospitals), CPR certification, and prior wound care experience or willingness to train.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred for Magnet Hospitals
• Valid RN license required
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with wound care patients; training provided
• Billing and coding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
• Implement physician orders within appropriate time frames
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues
